Heather Lambie moved from Miami (where she lived for 21 years) to St. Petersburg, Florida, in 2005. Two years later Heather founded her company, which was initially called Finding White Space on March 1, 2007.

Word of mouth spread quickly and Heather™s business grew much more rapidly than she anticipated. So in the spring of 2008 she hired two more organizers to be a part of her team, and in the summer of 2008 the company was re-branded Your Home Editorâ„¢.

The new name, Your Home Editorâ„¢, is a nod to Heather™s degree in journalism and her 15 years experience in graphic design (much of it at magazines). Your Home Editors will help you get control of your surroundings and edit your possessions in the same way a magazine editor edits down the word clutter in an article. When only the best of the best remains, simplicity and perfection is revealed.

Heather and her team offer inventive, clever solutions for simplifying the everyday clutter and stress that invades the modern lifestyle.

Heather Lambie has been helping others get organized since the seventh grade when she was known as "The Locker Fairy" for sneaking into friends' lockers during lunchtime to sort and organize their books and schoolwork. Since that time Heather has learned that organizing is a part of who she is, as well as a way that she can help others achieve their goals.

Heather has a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Florida, and a Certificate in Publishing from New York University. Her professional background is a combination of graphic design and teaching high school journalism. From her design background she gained an understanding of and appreciation for space planning and making things look lovely when they fit in a neat, tidy way. She now uses this skill set in rooms rather than on paper or computer screens. From her teaching she learned patience and the ability to transfer skills. All of this, combined with her passion for decorating and clean, organized spaces, led her to pursue a career in organizing. She founded her professional organizing business in March of 2007 to act on this passion.

Heather has received training from and is an active member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), the premier organization dedicated to the field of organizing. She is currently working toward her CPO certification within that organization. Through this process she is gaining a quality education, exposure to cutting edge trends in organizing and the latest product knowledge--all of which she can share with YOU, the client. She is also in the process of founding a Tampa Bay Area Chapter of NAPO.

A wife and mother of two, Heather has learned through experience how to maintain an efficient, organized home while balancing business with a busy family life.

An organizing enthusiast for many years, Tina Fischer discovered her true passion for helping others enjoy their space when she co-chaired the Leadership St. Pete class project to renovate a living facility for at-risk teens. The complete reorganization and makeover of the bedrooms at the Brookwood Girls™ Home brought the troubled teens a sense of pride, and Tina saw immediately how improving a space can also improve attitude and outlook on life.

Tina received her Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Florida State University. After graduation, she traveled across the United States as a computer consultant for Accenture and Renaissance Worldwide helping clients such as Federal Express, The Gap, and Anheuser-Busch. Through this experience, her propensity for efficiency developed. She specialized in workflow management, process improvement and quality control. By helping people simplify the way they do their jobs, Tina gave them a sense of control that allowed them to be more productive.

Tina continues to teach as an adjunct math instructor at St. Petersburg College. Her love of teaching is apparent during organizing sessions. Also apparent is her patience, which she gained as a wife and mother of six-year-old triplets!!! Not surprisingly, Tina excels at developing time management tricks for busy families.

Tina is an active member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) and is working toward her CPO certification. She is also on the Board of Directors for the Leadership St. Pete Alumni Association, where she has held the position of Membership Chair for the past three years.

The gallery also cultivated her skills of stocking items and creating visual displays both vital elements of residential organization.

A mother of two teenagers, Susan actively serves on the Board of Trustees at their school, chairing the Steering Committee and managing a major campus building project, which led to her nickname of "Girl Friday" for all the things she was able to handle at once. She is living proof that keeping organized helps create a less stressful life in this busy world.

Susan has received training from and is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO). She is working toward her CPO certification within that organization.
